If governments could pour enough money into these courses in university, there would be better educational resources, which could attract more students to study these subjects. And after these students graduate from universities, they could find employment in data analysis area. Since the data analysis becomes increasingly important in every industry, this trend is likely to improve society s economy.
On the other hand, other subjects like the arts are also equally important. For example, when governmentsfinancialize subjects like constructions, a student who studys it could enjoy a better educational condition. And after his/her graduation, they could use their knowledge and build nice as well as affordable constructions, which would help more people have shelter and lead a better life. And this could stabilize the whole society and improve social progress as well.
In conclusion, it seems to me that authorities should find a balanced approach regarding the question of making an investment in science and other subjects in order to make the society a better one.
